Before opening up his own business, Doug worked at KN Energy in Hastings. He later decided to open up his own business in 1987 and was located at 1354 W. 2nd. His business provided a full service gas station with automobile repairs also. In 1990, he decided that he need more space for parking, but also in the shop area. He then moved his business to 836. S. Burlington. He decided that the business would be a full automotive repair shop, without the gas. Doug says what he likes the most about his business, is the interaction with customers. He feels that they play an important role in his ability to satisfy their needs. but also to make improvements. |
